Ayurveda teaches us that we are all comprised of a combination of different biological energies found throughout the body and mind (Doshas).
The doshas all have different qualities, and while each one is present in our body, mind, and environment, some doshas are more dominant than others. There are three main doshas - Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
Take the time to prepare, schedule and plan for your cleanse. If you need a personalized cleanse to address specific concerns, We suggest making an appointment with an ayurvedic expert.
You will want to eliminate the use of coffee, caffeine, tobacco products, alcohol, and any recreational drugs. At the same time, reduce your intake of fast foods, processed foods, meats, refined sugars, and sweets. During this time, eat as many simple, whole foods as possible (fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and seeds).

These are just a couple ways that you can support your body and mind in feeling more grounded this fall. Every individual will require different treatment depending on their body-type and current issues, but there are some general rules that will remain the same.
